Two specular aluminum strips are inserted in
the ring assembly effectively blocking the
main beam of light in the objectionable
zones of vision yielding an asymmetrical
distribution and creating a very effective
‘house side shield’ without disturbing the
optical impression (daytime appearance) of the elegant cylinder
form. |

SPECIFICATIONS:
Luminaire Body
Body made of #356.2 (copper-free, marine
grade) aluminum casting, with a corrosion
proof, chromate primer. Canopy made of heavy
gauge aluminum. Sealing by silicone rubber
gaskets.
Mounting
Mounting for Pendant mounted fixtures on a
coupling/fitter system compatible with Visio
bracket and pole systems.
Fixtures for pole top mounting for straight
poles are provided with 3” mounting fitter
to fit to 3” tenon post top.
Optical System
Broad radiant luminous intensity
distribution. Glare reduction by louver made
of cast aluminum, white coated.
For asymmetric broad radiant luminous
intensity distribution inlaid strips as
reflector can be inserted into the louver
creating a ‘house side shield’.
Indirect optical is a broad radiant luminous
intensity distribution with clear acrylic
louvers for appearance. “EYE-on-the-SKY”
Classified ‘Cutoff’
Electrical Unit
Electrical unit completely wired and
removable. Easy lamp replacement without
tools through lower cap.
Glazing
Diffuser made of clear, unstructured
acrylic.
Optionally available: Diffuser made of
clear, UV stabilized polycarbonate.
Optionally available: U V stabilized opal
white translucent acrylic or polycarbonate.
Surface Coating
Finish shall start with a Zinc Chromate
Conversion which is a process where the
aluminum that comes in contact with the
chromatic acid by immersion changes the
molecular structure of the aluminum surface
from a surface than can corrode to an inert
metal material, aluminum chromate, which
cannot corrode or come off, and is finished
with an electrostatically applied powder
topcoat. The entire process is an 8-stage
process. Standard finishes available include
Black, White, Verde, Bronze, Green, and Red.
Other RAL colors are optionally available.

Bottom side of the top shade is coated with
RAL 9010, white.
