SPECIFICATIONS:
Luminaire Body
Housing, mounting piece and hinged frame
made of #356 (copper-free, marine grade)
aluminum diecasting, with a corrosion proof
chromate conversion finish.
Mounting
Optional poletop mounting for straight poles
for pole top diameter 3” dia. or arm
mounting (1 ¾” or 2 ½”).
Mounting Positions
Four positions for tilting angle up to
15° are possible, basic tilting angle is
1.5°.
Optical System
Computer designed and optimized for tubular
lamps, the multi-facetted reflector is
hydro-formed of highest purity aluminum,
then anodized, for long life, with an
adjustable asymmetric broad radiant
luminous intensity distribution.
Electrical Unit
Electrical unit, completely wired, mounted
on reinforced tray, removable without the
use of tools. Easy lamp replacement without
tools by means of quarter-turn locking
devices.
Lens
Clear, temperature resistant safety silicate
glass, hinged and with toolless access.
Standard feature includes an automatic power
cut off which disconnects power from ballast
tray when the lens door is opened.
Optional: Dropped dish diffuser made of
clear shockproof composite of polycarbonate
and impact resistant acrylic also available.
Surface Coating
Finish shall start with a Zinc Chromate
Conversion which is a process where the
aluminum that
comes in contact with the
chromatic acid by immersion
changes the
molecular structure of the
aluminum surface
from a surface than can corrode to an inert
metal material, aluminum chromate, which
cannot corrode or come off, and is finished
with an electrostatically applied powder
topcoat. The entire process is an 8-stage
process. Standard finishes available include
Black, White, Verde, Bronze, Green, and Red.
Other RAL colors are optionally available.
