As the founding member of the ‘D 68’ family,
I have been in production since 1989. My designer Rolf Kronmüller called me ‘D-68’, as that is what he
was thinking of when he invented me. Under
the marketing skills of LECCOR director
Erwin Lenz I became one of the most
successful light designs in several
countries.

The 3-PIPE
SYSTEM Light
Within the design pipe made of stainless
steel, the core of this light is a ‘light
pipe’ secured by a transparent (or frosted)
‘protection pipe’.
Design pipe:
• Diameter 68 mm, length see table (folded
page)
• Stainless steel V2A (V4A), surface is
glass-bead blasted
• Angle of light outlet B = 90°, 120°, 160°,
2 x 90°
• design pipe variations, e.g. horizontal or
vertical cutouts possible.
Protection pipe:
• transparent (or frosted) armoured glass
(or borosilicate glass) shock- and
dustproof, jet proof IP 65, acid-, oil-, and
gasoline proof. Protection category 1 or 2.
